Michel Romanino

Michel Romanino has extensive work experience in information security. Michel currently holds the position of Head of Information Security at Alma. Prior to this, they served as a member of the Cyber Executive Council at .406 Ventures.

Michel also held the role of Chief Information Security Officer at Blink Health, where they were initially hired as a single contributor and later promoted to manage and rebuild the company's infrastructure and IT teams. During their tenure, they achieved HITRUST certification, obtained Blink's first URAC accreditation, and significantly increased the team's satisfaction Gallup score.

Before joining Blink Health, Michel served as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer for Cambia Health Solutions, where they focused on nurturing a culture of security, providing risk insights to executive leadership, and executing new security solutions and process improvements. Michel oversaw various areas of responsibility, including threat and risk management, vulnerability management, incident response, and third-party risk management.

Earlier in their career, Michel held positions such as Director of Cloud Information Security at Teradata, Director of IT Risk Management at Sharp HealthCare, and Senior Manager of Information Security at Intuit. Michel also worked at Expedia as a Director of Information Risk Management and Principal Security Advisor, and served on the CSO/CTO Advisory Board at Qualys.

Michel Romanino completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering at Aix-Marseille University from 1988 to 1991. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2011, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² and the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) certification from ISACA. In 2014, they obtained the Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) certification from the Cloud Security Alliance. Most recently, in September 2020, they obtained The Open Group Certified: Open FAIR™ Foundation certification from The Open Group.
