Kevin Yahir García Lima

Kevin Yahir García Lima is an accomplished animation professional with extensive experience in directing, supervising, and teaching. Currently serving as the Director de programa académico at Coco School México, Kevin coordinates the master's program in 2D Animation. With a notable tenure at Anima Estudios since 2014, Kevin has held various roles including Animation Director for projects such as "Tig Notaro Drawn" and "Aztec Batman," as well as Animation Supervisor for the Netflix feature "El Camino de Xico." Additional contributions include being a Senior Character Animator and Storyboard Artist for multiple projects, and teaching at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Kevin co-founded Phyne Games, focusing on independent game development, and has a strong educational background in Animation and Digital Art from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Master’s degree from Coco School México.
