Mauricio Deer

Mauricio Deer is a skilled Visual Development Artist currently employed at Ánima Estudios since April 2017, where responsibilities include the creation of high-quality assets for various projects like Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires and Tulipop. Previous experience includes roles as a Background Painter and Character Designer at Fotosíntesis Media, contributing to animations for League of Legends and the feature My Friend The Sun. Additionally, Mauricio served as a Background Painter and Environment Designer at ¡Viva Calavera!, collaborating with the art team on Rey Mysterio Vs The Darkness. Other past positions include Background Painter for mighty studio, Concept Artist at Zebra Studios, Digital Designer at TV Azteca, and Lead Web Designer at Grupo Reforma. Mauricio holds a B.A. in Visual and Graphic Communication Design from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and completed further education at Schoolism between 2015 and 2016.
