Alexandre Meunier

Alexandre Meunier has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Alexandre is currently the Head of Engineering at Aria, a position they have held since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Algolia for seven years. At Algolia, they held various roles including Senior Engineering Manager from February 2020 to September 2022, Engineering Manager from January 2018 to January 2020, and Senior Software Engineer from October 2015 to December 2017. Before joining Algolia, Alexandre worked as the Lead Full Stack Engineer at Synbiota Inc. from September 2013 to September 2015. Alexandre also has experience in finance, having worked at HSBC as a Project Finance Associate in 2013 and as an Asset and Structured Finance Analyst from October 2011 to December 2012. Alexandre has also been involved in entrepreneurial activities as the Director and Co-founder of the Cambridge University Venture Capital & Private Equity Club from 2010 to 2011. Alexandre began their career in the finance industry as a Project Finance Analyst at HSBC France from September 2009 to September 2010. Alexandre also completed a Group Final Project while pursuing their MPhil in Technology Policy at EDF Energy in 2011. Overall, Alexandre has a strong background in engineering, management, finance, and entrepreneurship.

Alexandre Meunier completed their MEng in Engineering with Economics and Finance from École des Ponts ParisTech from 2007 to 2011. Alexandre then pursued an MPhil in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge from 2010 to 2011.
