Francisca Esteban Suburu has a diverse work experience in various industries. Francisca is currently working as a UX Researcher at hellohello since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as a UX / UI Design Tutor at Coderhouse starting from May 2021.
From September 2018 to June 2021, Francisca worked as a Web and Graphic Designer at CORDERA, a sustainable fashion brand. During this time, they worked on creating minimalist silhouettes using noble fibers for their collections.
In August 2019, Francisca joined the Ministerio de Desarrollo Social de Uruguay (MIDES) as a Designer and Project Manager Trainee. Here, they collaborated with the Ministry of Social Development in managing and developing enterprises with a sustainable perspective. Francisca utilized tools and methodologies such as design thinking, UX research, storytelling, and prototyping.
Before that, from May 2016 to December 2019, Francisca worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer. Francisca also briefly worked as a Saleswoman at Iniditex in 2018 and as an Initial Educator at Hippo Kindergarten from March 2017 to August 2018.
Additionally, Francisca gained experience as an Audit Assistant at Audistock from September 2014 to December 2017.
Finally, in May 2016 to March 2017, Francisca worked as a Fashion Designer at Positano, Belsey S.A., where they contributed to the creation and design of collections, store windows, and stands for design fairs.
Francisca Esteban Suburu has a diverse education history in various fields of study. In 2012, they obtained a Certificate in Advanced English (C.A.E) from the Language Teaching Center in Brighton, UK. In 2013, they obtained a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from the University of Cambridge.
From 2014 to 2019, Francisca pursued a Bachelor's degree in Design and Applied Arts at Instituto Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes - UDELAR. During this time, they also studied at Escuela Universitaria Centro de Diseño - Farq - Udelar, where they obtained a Licenciatura en Diseño Industrial (Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design) from 2014 to 2019. Additionally, they completed a short-term design program at Nueva Escuela de Diseño, Buenos Aires - Argentina, in 2015, focusing on Graphic Design.
In 2018, they pursued a Degree in Design and Visual Communication at Universidade da Coruña, completing the program in the same year. In 2019, Francisca furthered their education in the field of education at Sembrando Montessori, completing a program in Montessori Methodology.
Francisca continued their education in the field of design in 2020 by enrolling in Coderhouse, where they pursued a UX/UI Design career and obtained a certificate in Advanced UX/UI Design. Francisca also completed a short-term program at Learning by Helping in 2020, focusing on Design for Social Innovation. Furthermore, in the same year, they attended the Contemporary Art Foundation - FAC and completed a program on Introduction to Contemporary Art.
Most recently, in 2022, Francisca attended CONCRETA and obtained a degree in Cognitive Psychology and User Experience, specializing in UX/UI. Francisca also holds additional certifications in Cognitive Psychology and User Experience from CONCRETA, obtained in June 2022, and Advanced UX/UI Design from Coderhouse, obtained in June 2021. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Graphic Design from Nueva Escuela de Diseño y Comunicación in November 2015.
