Stephen Elgueta has extensive experience in leadership roles within the chemical and resources industries. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Projects for Latin America and Inorganic Projects at HELM AG since January 2019, and Head of the Department of Inorganics, Elgueta previously held the position of CEO at Albemarle Chile from November 2015 to September 2018. Elgueta also worked at Albemarle Corporation as Vice President Global Lithium Resources and Country Manager for Chile, and as Managing Director for both ITT Flygt Chile and ITT Flygt do Brasil. Additional contributions include serving on the board of ASIQUIM and a tenure as CFO at Chemetall SCL. Elgueta holds an MBA in Business Strategy from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and a Master’s Degree in Strategy and Finance from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
