Brenden Owen

Brenden Owen has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Brenden started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Associate, where they gained experience in audit work and developed skills in client management. Brenden then joined Vision Chain as a Controller before moving on to US Airways as a Supervising Senior Accountant, where they supervised a team and contributed to financial reporting and SEC filings. Brenden later joined Grant Thornton as a Manager, where they worked with multinational clients and provided assistance in US reporting requirements. Currently, they are working at Helmerich & Payne as a Finance Director and Controller, responsible for directing the finances of the Argentina operations and leading a team. Brenden has expertise in regulatory matters, accounting processes, and controls. Brenden has also been involved in various HR and legal matters throughout their career.

Brenden Owen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from William & Mary from 1990 to 1993. Brenden later pursued a Master's degree in Finance at the same institution from 2021 to 2023. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Public Accountant certification from the Commonwealth of Virginia in June 2001 and acquired additional certifications in the fields of Economics and International Tax.
