Michael Lennox

Mike Lennox has served as Senior Vice President, U.S. Land Operations of Helmerich & Payne International Drilling Co. since 2020. Lennox is responsible for HSE and drilling management and operations in the Permian, Rockies and Bakken basins.

Lennox joined H&P in 2008 as an engineer trainee and served as a leader in several areas before being named District Manager for the company’s largest district, West Texas and New Mexico in 2010. During his tenure, he has helped develop and implement actionable safety goals. He supports John Lindsay in the company’s new strategy regarding US Land operations. Lennox also sponsors the Flex Services Adjacency and leads the H&P revenue management project. He is a current member of the Executive Leadership Team.

Lennox is a member of the International Association of Drilling Contractors and is on the American Heart Association leadership team for the Tulsa chapter.

He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering. He later earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University.
