Robert Ream has a diverse work experience in various security and administration roles. Robert joined Helmerich & Payne in 2019 as the Director of Global Security and Administration. Prior to that, they worked at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation as the Director of International Security Operations from 2018 to 2019. Robert also served as the Senior Manager of Global Security, Crisis, and Emergency Management at BHP from 2013 to 2018. Before transitioning to the private sector, Robert had a successful career in the U.S. Coast Guard and Coast Guard Reserve, where they served as a Commander from 1996 to 2016. Additionally, they held leadership positions at Energy Security Council, API - American Petroleum Institute, Shell, and Qatar Petroleum, showcasing their extensive experience in the energy industry. In 2009, they engaged in Post Graduate Courses on National Security at the National Defense University. Later, in 2010-2011, Ream studied Executive Security Management through Post Graduate Studies at The Wharton School. Lastly, in 2022, they enrolled in an Executive Development program specializing in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
