Leo Schuhmacher

Leo Schuhmacher is an accomplished innovation manager at Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon since January 2024 and co-founder of Future Delivery since October 2021. With extensive experience as a freelance development engineer and previous roles as a development engineer at mb + Partner, Luftfahrt Technologie, and Hans von der Heyde GmbH & Co. KG, Leo has demonstrated expertise in mechanical and electrical component integration, CAD design, and system testing. A background in laser applications was gained at ROFIN-SINAR Laser GmbH, where a database structure for production environments was conceptualized. Leo's education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechatronics from Hochschule Osnabrück, completed in 2016.
