Helen Lyon

Helen Lyon is a seasoned music professional with extensive experience in composition and mentoring. Currently serving as a Mentor at Help Musicians since August 2022, Helen supports musicians and artists in their development within the creative industry. As a Freelance Composer and Musician since January 2017, Helen has contributed to various projects, including working as an A and R Manager and Freelance Composer at MediaTracks Music Ltd from January 2022 to July 2023, as well as serving as a Composer for the BBC New Creatives project, crafting music for the short film "Lucky House." Additional notable work includes composing music tracks for ClearWave in July 2020. Helen holds a PGCE in Music with Specialist Strings Teaching from the Royal Northern College of Music and a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance and Film Music from The University of Manchester.
