Phillip Court is a professional bass player, bandleader, composer, and music educator with extensive experience in the music industry. Since August 2011, Phillip has been self-employed, offering private tuition in bass guitar, guitar, vocals, and music theory, while also serving as a session player for various instruments. Currently, Phillip performs as a bass and synth bass player for the band Xempa and holds endorsement statuses with Aguilar Amplification, La Bella Strings, and ACS Custom. As a mentor for Help Musicians UK and one of the founding directors of Gutterbreed Records, Phillip contributes to the community while continuing to play for the jazz quintet, The Bakery. Phillip's educational background includes a licentiate degree in music teacher education and a diploma in music teaching.
