Tanja Venisnik is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human rights, policy advocacy, and legal support across various international organizations. Currently serving as the Global Rights Policy Advisor at HelpAge International since July 2023, Tanja previously held the position of Advocacy Manager at Médecins Sans Frontières UK and Ireland, where advocacy strategies for Rohingya refugees were developed. Tanja's expertise includes community forestry advocacy as a Senior Law and Policy Advisor at ClientEarth, legal coordination at EarthRights International, and human rights training and advisement roles with other NGOs. With academic credentials including a Master's degree in Human Rights and extensive legal experience, Tanja has a proven track record of engaging with diverse stakeholders to promote sustainable practices and protect community rights.
