Helping Hand
Erika Vavrik currently serves as the Vice President of Advancement at Helping Hand Center since April 2020. Additionally, Vavrik has a long-standing tenure at Orchard Village, having held various positions including Director of Marketing and Volunteer Management, Director of Development, and Associate Director of Development since September 2000.

Helping Hand is a non-profit organization serving over 600 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in suburban Cook County and greater Chicagoland communities since 1955. We offer a wide range of person-centered programs and services that enhance the educational, therapeutic, residential, and employment opportunities for those we serve. Our programs and services include a school, progressive employment programs that promote inclusive workplaces, pediatric therapies (occupational and speech/language), high school transition services, Community Living (CILA), and specialized programs with high team member-to-client ratios for seniors with disabilities.
