Katina Jones

Katina Jones has over 12 years of work experience in the education industry. Katina most recently served as the Vice President of Education at Helping Hand, where they provided leadership and management to the school's students and faculty. Katina was responsible for maintaining the school's budget and managing projects, personnel, and operations within the education agency. Prior to this role, Katina worked as the Director of Student Services at Lighthouse Academies, where they oversaw various student services and coordinated with Network Directors to provide support and strategies. Katina also has experience as a Student Support & Intervention Coordinator at Aurora Collegiate Academy and as a Special Education Teacher & PLC Lead at Bellwood School District 88.

Katina Jones received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Roosevelt University in 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Special Education and Teaching at Quincy University, which they completed in 2011. Later, they furthered their education at Olivet Nazarene University and earned their second Master of Science (MS) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General in 2014. In 2010, they obtained a Professional Educator License from the Illinois State Board of Education.
