Sourav Jyoti Kalita

Sourav Jyoti Kalita is a skilled software engineer currently working at Helpshift since July 2023, previously holding a software engineer position at Ubona from February 2021 to July 2023, where focus was on building Visual Interactive Voice Response systems employing technologies such as Java, Spring, Spark, SQL, and Kafka. Prior to industry experience, Sourav completed research internships at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati in 2019, concentrating on Human Action Recognition using Deep Learning, and at the Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology, where research involved Medical Image Processing and Segmentation aimed at developing a computer-aided diagnostic system. Sourav holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Assam Engineering College, completed in 2020.
