Jenny Aasland

Jenny Aasland is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in infection prevention and training. Currently serving as Principal Trainer and Opplæringsansvarlig at Helseplattformen since August 2019, Aasland previously held key roles at St. Olavs hospital, including Infection Prevention and Control Nurse and Research Coordinator for the Future Operating Room project. Aasland's expertise extends to international work with the World Health Organization, where contributions were made as an IPC consultant in a post-Ebola outbreak response team. Aasland also served as a team member at the Ebola Treatment Center for Helsedirektoratet. Academically, Aasland holds a Master's degree in Health Science from NTNU and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from several institutions, including Sør-Trøndelag University College.
