Dafni Antotsiou

Dafni Antotsiou, PhD, currently serves as an AI Research Engineer at Helsing since September 2022, where the focus is on designing and developing innovative AI methods for real-world applications, particularly in detection and tracking using RGB aerial data. Previously, Dafni completed a PhD at Imperial College London, concentrating on data efficiency in imitation learning with an emphasis on object manipulation, while also working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Nordson DAGE, developing image analysis algorithms, and an internship at HELLENIC PETROLEUM, where maintenance of computer systems and programming in Visual Basic for Excel were undertaken. Dafni holds an MSc in Advanced Computing from the University of Bristol and an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, complemented by a background in acting from the Higher Private School for Dramatic Arts Artistic Company Proskinio.
