Geoff French

Geoff French is an experienced AI Research Engineer currently working at Helsing since May 2022, with a previous role as an AI Scientist at Silo AI. French has a strong background in computer vision, focusing on semi-supervised learning and domain adaptation, and has applied this expertise to real-world challenges such as processing surveillance footage and sonar imagery. Prior experience includes positions at the University of East Anglia as a Senior Research Associate and Research Associate, and various internships at Google and NVIDIA focusing on novel algorithms and object detection. Academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of East Anglia, as well as an MSc and BSc in the same field.
