Janno Jaal

Janno Jaal is a Cyber Security Engineer currently working at Helsing since October 2025, with prior experience at Cybernetica from June 2023 to September 2025 and a role as a Lecturer at the University of Tartu, where Janno taught Secure Programming Techniques and its associated project courses from February 2024 to June 2025. Previous positions include a DevOps Engineer at Playtech from August 2022 to June 2023, contributing to the Data Services and Reporting Team, and roles as a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst and Junior Quality Assurance Engineer at Raintree Systems between December 2020 and January 2022. Janno is pursuing dual Master's degrees in Cybersecurity from the University of Tartu and TalTech, alongside a previous Master's degree in Cybersecurity from Brno University of Technology, having completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Tartu. Janno's educational foundation includes a High School Diploma from Tartu Hugo Treffner Gymnasium.
