Janica Brander

Janica Brander is a versatile author and journalist with extensive experience in various media roles since 2011. Currently serving as an author for Otavamedia, Brander published the non-fiction book "Astrologiaa epäilijöille" (Astrology for Skeptics) in 2022. As a freelance journalist, contributions span notable publications including Aamulehti and Kulttuuritoimitus. Brander also authors the EatTampere restaurant book and manages a food and lifestyle blog, Savusuolaa. In addition, Brander acts as a Food Culture Ambassador for Visit Tampere and teaches blog writing at the Institute of Adult Education in Helsinki. With expertise in influencer marketing through PING Helsinki, Brander’s background includes a Master of Social Sciences and a Master of Arts from the University of Tampere, alongside international education at Fudan University.
