Andrea Pontiggia

Andrea Pontiggia has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. From 1995 to 1996, they worked as a Senior Scientist & Medical Marketing at Glaxo Wellcome (now GSK). From 1997 to 1999, they served as an Export Area Manager for Eastern European Countries, French Africa, and Arabic Area at Alfa Wassermann Corporation. At Baxter Healthcare Corporation, they held multiple roles. From 2000 to 2002, they worked as a Project Manager, Medication Delivery, and was responsible for developing patient-specific reconstituted ready-to-use services and establishing partnerships for the compounding business. From 2002 to 2006, they served as a Marketing Manager for BioPharmaceuticals, where they were responsible for marketing a corporate portfolio of recombinant and plasma proteins. Additionally, they managed critical care, antibody therapy, and the hemophilia portfolio. At Helsinn Healthcare, they worked as a Product Management & Strategic Marketing Director from 2006 to 2007, and later as the Sales, Licensing Out & Marketing Director, Commercial Operation. In these roles, they were responsible for global sales, marketing, licensing out, and strategic development of the product portfolio. Andrea Pontiggia completed a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Università degli Studi di Milano, graduating with a grade of 110 cum laude/110. Following that, they pursued a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from DIBIT - Open Univ- Cambridge Univ., which they completed in 2000. Additionally, between 1998 and 2000, Andrea Pontiggia attended SDA Bocconi for an MBA program focused on the CEGA field.
