Andrew Hayes Chartered MCIPD has a comprehensive work experience spanning several roles and organizations. Andrew started their career in 2004 as a Specialist Manager in Human Resources at the Helsinn Group, where they provided leadership in Irish HR operations and contributed to the corporate HR agenda. In this role, they managed 3 direct reports and collaborated with the entire management team on various HR functions such as talent acquisition, talent management, training and development, policy development, performance management, employee relations, and more.

Andrew then progressed to the position of Senior Manager in Human Resources at Helsinn Group in 2022 and subsequently became the People & Engagement Director in 2024. These roles highlighted their expertise in HR strategy and people management.

Aside from their roles at Helsinn Group, Andrew also served as the Chairperson of the BPCI Laboratory Apprenticeship Consortium from 2017 to 2022. In this capacity, they led the development and implementation of a national apprenticeship program in collaboration with the biopharma and chemical sectors.

Andrew's work experience reflects their strong background in HR management, strategic planning, and leadership in both corporate and industry settings.

Andrew Hayes Chartered MCIPD completed a postgraduate degree in Arts in Human Resource Management at the National College of Ireland from 2008 to 2009.
