Enrico Magnani

Enrico Magnani has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Enrico currently holds the position of Chief Strategy Officer at Helsinn Group since July 2023. Prior to this, they served as the General Manager at Helsinn Pharmaceuticals (Beijing) Co., Ltd. starting from July 2019.

Enrico joined Helsinn Group in 2010 and held various roles including Deputy Head of China Operations, Head of Commercial Development, China, and Global Product Manager. Enrico'stenure at Helsinn Group lasted from January 2010 to June 2019.

Before joining Helsinn Group, Enrico worked as an Engagement Manager at Novasecta from July 2006 to November 2010. Enrico also briefly served as a Research Associate at Library House in the same year.

Enrico's career began in 1999 as a Research Scientist at GlaxoSmithKline, where they worked until September 2001.

Enrico Magnani has a strong education history in both neuroscience and pharmacology. Enrico received their PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge between 2002 and 2005. In 1994-2000, they obtained a Laurea Cum Laude in Pharmacology from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. In 2013, they also pursued a short-term course in Finance for Senior Managers at the London Business School.
