Mariella Paroma

Mariella Paroma is an accomplished HR executive with extensive experience in talent management and organizational development across multiple industries. Currently serving as Chief People Officer at Medix Biochemica since May 2020, Paroma also holds the position of Global People & Culture Lead at Helvar since January 2017. In addition, Paroma has a long-standing role as Vice President of Human Resources at Pöyry, overseeing HR initiatives across 34 countries. Previous experiences include founding a coaching enterprise focused on well-being and leadership, as well as significant roles at Nokia in various HR capacities and consulting at ABB. Paroma holds a Master's Degree in Pedagogy from the University of Helsinki and additional education from Svenska Handelsläroverket.
