Fortunat Diener is an experienced international team leader and entrepreneur with a diverse background in health-tech and economic development. Currently serving as the International Team Leader for Caritas Schweiz, overseeing a Local Economic Development project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fortunat previously co-founded and led Dr. Now, a health-tech start-up aimed at providing telemedicine services to underprivileged populations in Brazil. Additional roles include serving as Senior M&E Advisor for Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Co-founder and CEO of Savolution AG, and various leadership positions at Swisscontact worldwide, where Fortunat managed new business ventures and directed monitoring efforts. Early career experiences include coordination of comprehensive Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys for UNICEF in Angola and globally, as well as establishing the M&E department at ACDI/VOCA. Fortunat holds a Master's degree in Management and Evaluation of Public Policies and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, both from the University of Geneva, Switzerland.
