Franz Albers is a managing partner of Albers & Co AG, Zurich. The Albers Group is active in the areas of high-tech textiles (Schoeller Textil AG) and real estate (Hardturm AG) and holds various industrial holdings. Franz Albers is a member of various administrative and foundation boards, including President of the Textile Testing Institute Testex AG, Zurich, and Vice President of Sefar AG, Heiden, which specializes in precision fabrics for screen printing and filtration applications. He is a board member of the Kunstgesellschaft Zürich and the Vereinigung Zürcher Kunstfreunde.
Franz Albers holds a Dipl. Chem. Ing. ETH and studied business administration at Stanford.

Helvetica Capital AG was founded in 2015 as an independent investment firm which arose from the team behind SVC Ltd. for Risk Capital for SMEs, a wholly owned subsidiary of Credit Suisse. Since 2010, the team at SVC Ltd. (in 2018 renamed Credit Suisse Entrepreneur Capital Ltd. or CSEC) has built up an attractive portfolio with direct investments in Swiss SMEs in the venture, growth and later stage areas, which Helvetica Capital continues to manage and further develop as exclusive advisor to CSEC.
