Marc Germain

VP, Medical Affairs & Innovation at Héma-Québec

Marc Germain is the current Vice President of Medical Affairs & Innovation at Héma-Québec. Marc has also served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine at Université Laval from January 2003 to June 2014. Prior to that, they were the Director of Clinical Research at Biochem Vaccines Inc. from September 1997 to August 1998, where they were responsible for designing and conducting clinical studies to support the development of vaccines (Influenza, Meningococcus, therapeutic BCG).

Marc Germain's educational career began with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Université Laval. Marc then went on to earn a Doctor of Medicine from the same school, specializing in Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. Finally, they completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy in Epidemiology from the University of Washington in Seattle.

They work with Christine Ouimet - VP, Supply Chain, Nancy Robitaille - VP, Transfusional Medicine, and Genevieve LeBrun - VP, Client Experience & Business Intelligence. Marc Germain reports to Nathalie Fagnan, President & CEO.
