Mélanie Dieudé, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research and operations. Mélanie currently holds the role of Scientific Researcher at the Centre de recherche du CHUM (CRCHUM) since 2020. In 2022, they joined Héma-Québec as the Director of Research Operations. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Professor at the Université de Montréal within the Faculty of Medicine, Microbiology, Infectiology, and Immunology Department starting from 2018. Mélanie also has experience in leadership roles, having served as the Executive Director of the Canadian Donation and Transplantation Research Program from 2020 to 2022. Before that, they worked as the Principal Scientific Officer from 2018 to 2020 and as the National Project Manager from 2013 to 2018. Mélanie's earlier experience includes a position as an Associate Research Scientist at the Centre de recherche du CHUM (CRCHUM) from 2011 to 2018.

Mélanie Dieudé, Ph.D. completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology from Université de Montréal in 1997. Mélanie then pursued their Master's degree in Molecular Biology from the same university, which they completed in 1999. Mélanie continued their academic journey at Université de Montréal and achieved a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences with a specialization in Immunology in 2004, earning a place on the Dean's Honour List. Following their Ph.D., they undertook Postdoctoral Fellowships at McGill University from 2005 to 2009 and at Université de Montréal from 2009 to 2011.
