Dahami Hewagamage

Dahami Hewagamage has extensive experience in human resources, with their most recent role as the Human Resources Director at Hemas Holdings PLC starting in 2022. Before that, they worked at GSK, where they held various positions including Head of Human Resources for GSK Vietnam and MyIndochina from 2020 to 2022, Director on the Board of Directors from 2017 to 2020, and Country HR Head for GSK Sri Lanka from 2016 to 2020. Prior to their time at GSK, Dahami worked at Suntel Ltd as a Trainee HR Executive from 2005 to 2006. Throughout their career, they have focused on strategic HR partnering, driving succession planning, talent agendas, inclusion and diversity, employee relations management, and establishing modern HR practices. Dahami has also provided leadership in culture and talent agendas, as well as business change management within the organizations they have worked for.

Dahami Hewagamage completed their B.s.c in Human Resource Management from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura between 2000 and 2005. Dahami later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Colombo from 2012 to 2014. In addition, they attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka from 2001 to 2002, although the specific degree or field of study is not mentioned.
