Mark Garner

Mark Garner, M.Ed., SHRM-SCP, serves as the Director of Human Resources for Hemet Unified School District since 2019, bringing extensive experience in educational administration. Previously, Mark held the position of Director/Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources at Valley Center-Pauma Unified School District from 2011 to 2018 and worked in various roles within Escondido Union School District from 2003 to 2011, including Principal and Assistant Principal. Mark's career began as a substitute teacher and progressed through teaching roles in math and science. Garner's educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from California State University San Marcos and multiple administrative and teaching credentials, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC San Diego.
