William Cooter

William Cooter is an experienced professional in project development and energy efficiency with a strong background in low carbon energy infrastructure. Currently serving as the Head of Project Development at Hemiko since March 2019, William manages city-scale district heating schemes and other energy projects, guiding opportunities through to viable contract execution. Previously, at Carbon Architecture from April 2016 to April 2018, William worked as an Energy and Process Efficiency Consultant, focusing on sustainability and process improvement. Earlier roles include serving as a Process Engineer at HEINEKEN, where responsibilities included maintenance planning for cider production equipment. William holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical and Energy Engineering from the University of Leeds and several project management and safety training qualifications.
