Todd Allen has a diverse work experience spanning over several fields. Todd started their career at Hennepin County Medical Center as a Cardiovascular Technologist, where they gained experience in cardiac catheterization and critical medical technology. Todd then worked at Minnesota Thoracic Associates as a Certified Surgical First Assistant and Perfusion Assistant, where they performed various surgical and perfusion duties.
After that, Allen worked at Central Medical Inc as a Sales Representative, responsible for selling diagnostic and surgical products to hospitals and clinics. Todd later became the Sales Manager, overseeing a sales force and managing distribution in the north central region.
Allen then joined the International Technidyne Corporation as a Senior Hospital Territory Manager, where they were responsible for sales of point-of-care diagnostic equipment to the hospital market.
Todd continued their career at TEM Systems, Inc. (ROTEM) as a Regional Sales Consultant and later as the Director of Clinical Application & Business Development. In these roles, they focused on sales, clinical support, and marketing strategies for the ROTEM Thromboelastometry System. Todd subsequently worked at Grifols as a Specialty Sales Representative, representing antithrombin and albumin in multiple states. Todd then joined HemoSonics, LLC as the Director of Clinical Training, developing clinical education and training platforms for internal and external customers.
Most recently, Allen has taken on the role of Clinical Development Director at HemoSonics, LLC, overseeing clinical development and providing clinical talks and workshops at major congresses.

Todd Allen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, and Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Furthermore, Todd pursued studies in Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Additionally, they hold several certifications, including a Certificate in Patient Blood Management from the Society for the Advancement of Blood Management, Inc. and National Certifications as a Surgical Technologist/Surgical First Assistant and Surgical Technologist from the Liaison Council on the Certification for the Surgical Technologist. Todd has also completed Autotransfusion & Autologous Blood Salvage and Certification ECMO courses from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and the University of Michigan Medical Center, respectively.
