Anne-Christine Ahrenkiel

Anne-Christine Ahrenkiel currently serves as the EVP, Chief People and Culture Officer at Hempel A/S since June 2025, where responsibilities include reporting to the CEO and participating in the Executive Group Management. Prior to this role, Anne-Christine was the EVP, Chief People Officer at DFDS from October 2019 to June 2025, overseeing the People Division with a team of 130 professionals across Europe. Additional experience includes serving as Vice Chair of the Negotiation Committee at Danish Shipping, and as the Vice President and Head of HR at Egmont Group, contributing to digital transformation and HR strategy alignment with business goals. Previous positions were held at Maersk in various HR roles, as well as at NNIT and Accenture. Anne-Christine holds a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen and a BA in French and Italian from Copenhagen Business School.
