Laurence Brown

Laurence Brown is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the coatings and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Energy Business for the Middle East at Hempel A/S since January 2009, Laurence previously held the position of Business Director. Prior to Hempel, Laurence was the Area Sales Director at Syntema Coatings Ltd from February 2005 to December 2008. Other notable roles include UK Sales Manager and Business Development Manager at Tikkurila Oyj, and Sales Executive for UK Distributors and Project Engineer at Kemira. Laurence began a career in engineering as a Maintenance Engineer and Project Engineer at SSI Schaefer from September 1987 to September 1994, following an apprenticeship in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering. Laurence completed education at Southampton Institute of Higher Education from 1990 to 1992.
