Tapas Majumdar

Tapas Majumdar has over three decades of experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as ERP Application Manager and Regional Finance Director at Hempel A/S since February 1996. Majumdar is part of the Regional Management Team overseeing finance for the Middle East region, which includes countries such as Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Responsibilities include finalizing management reporting, enforcing compliance, managing accounting functions, and leading significant projects such as the Net Working Capital Reduction Project. Prior to Hempel A/S, Majumdar held various finance roles at ABC Dubash Ltd, Ardeshir B Cursetjee and Sons Limited, Urmila and Company Limited, and started in accounting as a Junior Accountant. Education includes degrees in Financial Management, Tax Management, and Computer Management from esteemed institutions in Mumbai and Kolkata.
