Zakhar Karpikov

Zakhar Karpikov is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in managing commercial operations across multiple industries. Currently serving as Managing Director at Hempel A/S since April 2020, Zakhar leads a team of 120 employees and oversees business operations in key regions including Russia, Turkey, and Central Asia. Previously, Zakhar held the position of Commercial Director at Evonik, successfully managing a diverse sales team and implementing strategic projects. Prior roles at BASF and GE Healthcare included significant achievements in sales growth and organizational restructuring. Zakhar began a career in research as a Scientific Researcher at the Center for Drug Chemistry after earning a degree in Chemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University and studying at the University of Mannheim.
