Tobias Ekman

Tobias Ekman is a founder and board member of Cellevate AB, a company that specializes in developing 3-dimensional cell culturing systems. Tobias has held various roles within Cellevate, including founder, CEO, and board member. In addition, Ekman is a board member of Working Partner Sweden AB. Tobias is also the founder and chairman of the board of Hemset, a company that offers digital interior design services. Ekman is the founder of Ekman Ventures AB, a holding company that assists other companies in increasing profitability through digital transformation and strategy. Tobias is a member of the board of advisors for Nortical and has previously worked as an innovation manager for Uniti - Ingenious EV, where they were involved in fundraising, technology valuation, intellectual property management, and innovation strategy. Ekman has also served as a business advisor for AWA IPro, specializing in investment management, intellectual property, strategy, licensing, and commercialization. Tobias has experience as an associate and patent consultant at Awapatent, a consultancy firm in intellectual property. Ekman began their career with a nanovation internship at Lund University.

Tobias Ekman started their education journey in 2004 at Polhemskolan, where they pursued The Natural Science Programme until 2007. Following this, in 2007 and 2008, Tobias attended Foothill College, focusing on Mathematics and psychology. Lastly, from 2009 to 2014, Tobias Ekman studied at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, completing a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Engineering with a specialization in Engineering Nanoscience, specifically in the field of Nanobiomedicine.
