Dedrick Dunton

Dedrick Dunton currently serves as an Instructional Coach, Pride Ambassadors Advisor, and High School Mathematics Teacher at Henderson Collegiate since July 2021, focusing on Honors Math 3. In addition, Dedrick has been a Motivational Public Speaker since August 2008, engaging audiences to inspire positive change. Previous experiences include working as FSO Assurance Staff at EY, Customer Service Leader at Food Lion, and various roles at East Carolina University, where responsibilities included academic coaching and mentoring for students, particularly within the Pirate Academic Success Center. Dedrick's early career encompassed customer service roles at Walmart and McDonald's, as well as tutoring and mentoring for AVID students. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, both from East Carolina University.
