Henderson Collegiate is a free, K-12 college preparatory public charter school dedicated to transforming rural public education for low-income families in North Carolina. Open to all students in North Carolina, Henderson Collegiate is committed to providing an exceptional education to students who are historically under-served in our community. Henderson Collegiate’s mission is to empower our students to become better people, attend and graduate from the college of their choice, and change the world. Henderson Collegiate opened in the summer of 2010 with a 4th grade class of 100 students. Now, Henderson Collegiate is a full K-12 program that serves over 1,300 students across our elementary, middle and high school.
