Mechanical Engineer II at Henderson Engineers

Hannah Blake, EIT, LEED® GA has a diverse work experience. Hannah started their professional career as a Hostess at Mama Fu's Asian House, where they developed confidence and customer service skills. Hannah then worked as a Lifeguard at Austin Pool Pros, where they strengthened their focus and stamina while monitoring swimmers. Hannah also worked at Sno Beach Snow Cone Trailer, where they served customers, worked as a cashier, and maintained the trailer to health code standards. Hannah received recognition for their reliability and hard work.

In 2018, Hannah joined the Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering Department at the University of Colorado Boulder as a Research Assistant, actively participating in D. O. E. projects. Hannah also served as a Team Advisor at the National Student Leadership Conference, leading high school students in leadership exercises and engineering projects. Hannah taught daily lessons and activities, mentored individual students, and ensured their safety and comfort.

Hannah further expanded their experience as a Project Management Intern at ARCO/Murray Design Build, where they gained insights into project management processes. Hannah then joined Group14 Engineering, PBC as an Engineering Intern, contributing to various engineering projects.

Currently, Hannah is working at Henderson Engineers as a Mechanical Engineering Designer. Their role involves designing mechanical systems for various projects. Hannah is also a LEED® GA (Green Associate) and an EIT (Engineer in Training), showcasing their expertise and dedication to sustainable and efficient engineering practices.

Hannah Blake, EIT, LEED® GA, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering with a focus on Environmental Studio Design from the University of Colorado Boulder. Hannah completed their four-year degree program from 2016 to 2020. In addition to their academic background, Hannah also holds the LEED Green Associate certification, which they obtained from the U.S. Green Building Council in May 2021.
