Sam Berkow is a Project Director at Henderson Engineers and previously served as Principal at SIA Acoustics, a division of Robert Derector Associates, from 2018 to 2025. Sam founded SIA Acoustics in 1986, an acoustical and facility design firm specializing in musical performance and recording spaces, and also established SIA Software Company, Inc., which developed the SIA-Smaart software for acoustic measurement. Sam holds a B.S. in Physics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and a Master’s in Acoustics from Stevens Institute of Technology.
