Hendrik Veder Group started in 1800 with the production of rigging materials. G. van der Lee was established in the 1545 and has been managed by direct descendants of founder Jan Pietersz van der Lee ever since, making it the oldest family business in the Netherlands. Now a subsidiary of Hendrik Veder Group, the company produces and distributes a complete range of high-quality natural and synthetic fibre rope products from its location in Oudewater.
