Jarl van den Berg has a diverse work experience in various industries. Starting in 2013, they gained insight into the global broiler industry as a Risk Analyst at Cobb-Vantress. Jarl then transitioned to Hendrix Genetics in 2014, where they worked as a Business Analyst focusing on finance and implementing production systems. In 2019, they took on the role of General Manager, Salmon UK, overseeing genetic solutions for the salmon industry. Prior to this, they held leadership positions at Ahold, where they received awards for excellence in planning, stock management, and employee leadership.
Jarl van den Berg completed their International Baccalaureate in Natural Sciences at International College Spain in 2009. Jarl then continued their education at Wageningen University & Research, where they received their Bachelor's degree in Economics and Governance in 2012. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Management, Economics and Consumer Studies with a focus on Agricultural Management and Economics, which they completed in 2014.
