Medardo Canada has a diverse background in IT and software development, with experience starting as a Sales Associate at Sears Canada in 1999. Medardo then moved on to roles such as Programmer/Analyst at Crane Plumbing, Owner of their own business providing software development and technical services, and IT Analyst at Hybrid Turkeys. At Hendrix Genetics, they served as Systems Developer for Breeding, IT Manager for the Americas and Global Customer Support, and currently holds the position of IT Director for the Americas. Throughout their career, Medardo has shown strong technical skills and leadership in various IT roles, focusing on digital transformation and ensuring high levels of IT service to support business success.

Medardo Canada graduated from Conestoga College in 2004 with a degree in Computer Programmer/Analyst. In 2018, they obtained the ITIL v3 Foundation certification in IT Service Management. Medardo also holds certifications in Certified First Aid and CPR from St. John's Ambulance, as well as being a Certified Occupational Health and Safety Member from OSG Cambridge.
