Naomi Duijvesteijn has extensive work experience in the field of genetics and research. Naomi started as a researcher at TOPIGS Research Center IPG B.V. in 2008 and later worked as a researcher and research manager at Topigs Norsvin. Naomi also obtained their PhD from Wageningen University on the genetics of social interactions in pigs. Naomi'smost recent roles include Project manager SAPPSA, R&D director Sasso, and Senior Geneticist at Hendrix Genetics. In their roles, they focused on genomic projects, genetic architecture of traits, and research coordination. Naomi also worked as a Research Fellow at the University of New England, Australia, focusing on sequence data analysis in sheep genetics.
Naomi Duijvesteijn obtained a Master of Science degree in Animal Science from Wageningen University & Research in the years 2002 to 2008. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Animal Genetics at the same university from 2010 to 2014.
