Maximilian Maier

Maximilian Maier serves as the Head of Global Product Development, Innovation Management & Systems Support at Henkel since October 2020, previously holding roles such as Product Development Manager and Team Lead Global. Prior to Henkel, Maximilian worked at BASF from January 2018 to September 2020 as Laboratory Manager R&D and Deputy Head of Department, focusing on the development of polyurethanes for automotive applications and innovative hybrid parts for EVs. At Dentsply Sirona, from September 2013 to December 2017, Maximilian led product development teams for composites and cements, significantly impacting market standards and contributing to a robust IP portfolio. Maximilian's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Düsseldorf, along with executive education in Organizational Leadership and Business Administration from ESMT Berlin and IESE Business School, respectively. Additionally, Maximilian has a German Diploma in Business Chemistry from the University of Düsseldorf and completed postgraduate coursework in Business Administration at the University of Technology Sydney.
