Andrew D. Johnson is an experienced arts and retail professional with a strong background in strategic initiatives and management. Currently, as the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Hennepin Arts since April 2018, Andrew has also held positions as Associate Vice President of Strategic Implementation and Event Center Director. Prior to Hennepin Arts, Andrew served as Manager of Theater and Special Projects at Lundstrum Performing Arts from August 2013 to April 2018, where responsibilities included technical direction and facilities management. Andrew's earlier experience includes a tenure at Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI) from September 2002 to August 2013 as Retail Sales Manager, focusing on staff development and sales operations. Andrew holds a degree in K-12 Vocal and Classroom Music from Concordia University-St. Paul, obtained between 1997 and 2002.
