Erica Karasov

Erica Karasov is a seasoned social worker with extensive experience in mental health and case management. Between May 2011 and March 2015, Erica served as a Senior Psychiatric Social Worker for the Prepetition Screening Program at Hennepin County, where responsibilities included conducting clinical interviews and writing court reports in accordance with the MN Commitment Act. Erica also held the position of Senior Social Worker for Adult Mental Health Case Management, partnering with individuals under civil commitment to support their recovery goals. Prior to this, Erica worked as a Long Term Support Services Waiver Case Manager at Meridian Services, managing various waiver programs, and gained initial experience as a Job Coach at Sabes Jewish Community Center, focusing on employment assessments and placement. Erica holds a Master of Social Work from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Social Work from Southwest Minnesota State University.
