Pamela Mercado

Pamela Mercado, MA, currently serves as a Project Supervisor for the City of Minneapolis since April 2023. Previously, Mercado held the position of Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator at Esperanza United from February 2022 to April 2023, where responsibilities included coordinating training and technical assistance activities aimed at enhancing culturally responsive approaches to gender-based violence. From December 2016 to April 2021, Mercado supervised the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Program at CLUES, overseeing programming, training, and crisis response while ensuring compliance with best practices. Additionally, Mercado was a Second Lieutenant in the US Army from September 2011 to April 2017, supervising over 20 soldiers in a medical services unit. Mercado holds a Master's degree in Advocacy and Political Leadership from Metro State University and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Inter American University of Puerto Rico-Aguadilla.
